Description

Rare 2004 Subaru Forester XT turbo with manual transmission and brand new MVI last month. 248 xxx kms, still runs strong. I bought this car last summer as a project with the intention of modifying it a lot more, but I lost interest and never drive it, so it's been sitting around rarely being used. The body isn't in showroom condition, but there isn't any rust bubbling through. A/C isn't ice cold, but it still works. Just before I bought the car, it had a new clutch and radiator put in it. It also has an Invidia downpipe installed by a previous owner. Since I have owned it, I have replaced many things and fixed many issues. New parts are fuel filler neck, rear brake pads, rear sway bar and mounts and rear passenger strut. I have completely gone through the rear end of the car and replaced all rusted metal with new steel as well as all nuts and bolts. I have replaced every single bushing with Kartboy polyurethane bushings including all the rear suspension, rear diff and sub frame mounts. Other pieces I have replaced are the center and rear sub frames with WRX STI pieces and a new driveshaft. Upgrades include WRX STI top mount intercooler with Grimspeed piping, custom intake, polyurethane shifter bushings with Kartboy adjustable short shifter, Yonaka Motorsports engine and transmission mounts (including both sides, trans and dog bone), new JDM transmission subframe mount with polyurethane bushings. I have all of the original parts except for the downpipe. Car also comes with a few sets of rims and tires, including the winters on 17 inch rims as seen in the picture, which are studded Antares Ice 60's with less than 1000km on them, the factory XT 16 inch rims with michelin X-Ice tires on them (two are good, two aren't) as well as a set of 3 17 inch rims with summers on them, lots of life left (you can get 4th from a junk yard such as Vance Hanes for about $150). The only bad with this car is there is a loose/broken wire somewhere between the vapor canister and the ECU throwing a CEL, which doesn't allow you to use the cruise control. Car could also use a tune to run better and make a good bit more power, but it isn't necessary as it runs well as is. Again, I'm only selling this as I have lost interest and want to move on to other things. I'm not interested in trades, and the price may be negotiable without the other rims. Located in Windsor.
