Description

This open concept two bedroom, one bathroom home was gutted down to its studs in 2014 and completely remodelled with attention to detail by the owner who is a carpenter. It features engineered hardwood flooring throughout, a custom bathroom with flagstone flooring and shower, salvaged wood beams and vaulted ceilings. Perhaps the best feature of this home is the natural light provided by large windows and skylights. Stainless steel appliances, a concrete countertop and copper sink are just some of the features of the open concept kitchen. During the overhaul renovation in 2014, all new electrical and plumbing was installed. Insulated with R-31 spray foam in the ceilings and R-24 in the walls, the house is easily heated in the winter months, and stays cool in the summer months. The home is heated primarily with a Mitsubishi mini split with baseboard heaters as a backup. There is also an air exchange system and water softener plus UV light filter in the home. Outside, a new metal roof was was installed, and smooth fit cedar shingles were restored to their natural state. All windows and doors were replaced in 2014. A new deck, flagstone patio and privacy fence were installed in 2015. A new 12" x 16" shed with metal roof was built in 2016. The property also boasts another 16" x 16" outbuilding that was used as an art studio. The property is in walking distance to Pine Grove Park and amenities such as grocery stores and gas stations. Located just outside Liverpool town limits, enjoy the lower property taxes. For more information or to view this property, please contact June at 1-902-350-2578.
