2008 Chevrolet Silverado *NEEDS REPAIRS* Selling my ‘08 Silverado. This truck has low km’s but unfortunately needs a new camshaft. I don’t have the means to do it myself so this truck would be great for a mechanic or someone who is more car savvy than I am. Over the summer I put roughly $4000 into it already: replaced all spark plugs and new spark plug wiring kit, had front tie rods replaced and front axle re-aligned, 3 new tires, 4x4 and traction control wiring repair, oil change with filters and oil pressure sensor changed and a couple other things. Currently the truck runs but the camshaft is an issue that needs to be fixed before this truck is driven. The truck has some rust around the wheel wells and some damage to the rear bumper. The interior is in good condition other than a couple minor issues such as a rip in the side of driver’s seat. if there’s anyone that knows what they’re doing regarding this issue and is in for a bit of a project or investment please contact me.
