Description

Selling my baby Scion tC 2012 that got me through many years at university and is an amazing student car. About some of the new changes to the car: - New Black Leather seats with Carbon Fiber bolsters and white stitching to match the vehicle from Katzkin. The back seats are basically brand new as I rarely have people to drive around and the front 2 seats are mint from myself and partner. I frequently moisturize the leather with conditioner to keep them in proper shape - Aluminum Wheels with special winter protective paint and Continental WinterContacts - Custom weather proof floor mats for the Scion tC (originally comes with carpet) - Car is also lined with sound deadening material, I can demonstrate in person the difference between body panels Mileage: - City I get around 9.5-10L/100kms in stop and go traffic - Highway is around 8.5-8.9L/100kms Overall extremely good on gas. To approximate example, I drove about 10km to work and back on a regular Mon-Fri schedule and only had to refill about every 1.5-2 weeks depending on how much you drive on the weekend. A tank of gas will also only cost you about 45-50$ depending where you go. The vehicle itself has the same engine as the Toyota RAV4! If you aren't aware, the Scion models, like Lexus are part of the Toyota lineup. The engine itself has no Timing Belt, but a Timing Chain which reduces cost on maintenance greatly! My father is a heavy duty mechanic and runs a small car shop, so I get the vehicle checked very frequently and I am happy to say she has had 0 problems. The vehicle is a coupe, but I can assure you the backseats are extremely functional for driving people as I am 5'11 and have a spare 2inches above my head and lots of leg room. Seating in the back is similar to a coach at home to be honest. To add to the functionality, the seats in the back completely fold and lay almost flat. I was able to recently fit an entire BEKANT corner desk from Ikea, and very spacious for regular city needs. Recent maintenance: - Oil change (done every 5000kms) - New brakepads both front and back - New headlights both high and low beams - I recently detailed my car with regular products (I do this about every 6-8 months to protect the vehicle) Why am I selling? I actually do a good amount of hiking and enjoy adventures in areas with rougher terrain, so I am need of a vehicle that is slightly taller and off road capable. This vehicle is amazing for city, and definitely stands out amongst the crowd of corollas and civics at the same price point!
