Description
100 Series Toyota Landcruiser HDJ100FTE 5spd Diesel left hand drive with factory rear diff lock. Great Overlanding platform! LOW ORIGINAL KMS - Only 133,000 - Note I'm driving it daily still so it may go up slightly. This has been my dream vehicle for many years, but an upcoming change in home and parking situation has resulted in this needing to be put up for sale. The goal was to slowly build it (ie suspension, bumpers, sliders etc and after a few more short years it will be eligible for US export, meaning a massive potential upside in buyers. Try finding another like this for sale in Canada (optioned like this) and I'll buy you a coffee! So here it goes. This is a factory built left hand drive Toyota Landcruiser built for the Germany, where it spent nearly 17 years of its life with its original owner. That owner imported it to Canada and sold it here to the 2nd owner, from which I purchased it. I have put some $$ and time into it since then, so just to make that clear. Factory Lexus interior (Toyota did this in outside markets). No Sunroof. (more headroom) and less potential for leaks No roofrack (less potential for leaks) and better if you want to convert to aftermarket rack This vehicle runs amazing! The transmission shifts smoothly, the clutch is very beefy and feels like new. Absolutely no issues starting, idling, driving etc, runs mint. Factory AHC Hydraulic Suspension (new fluid) - Raise and lower the entire vehicle (back AND front) from inside the cab! Super trick! BUT: see below more on this Brand New windshield! New Batteries (2) Timing belt in decent shape (no cracks, I have checked) Yokohama Tires about 60% 16" factory alloy wheels New rear sway bar link The only issue with the body is really around the back, the rear upper hatch could use replacement due to some rust a bad seal, however it's completely isolated to the hatch, nothing else is affected, so it could just be a cheap replacement hatch from a used LX or Landcruiser (either will fit). The frame is completely solid, in very good shape. A little little bit of rust around the rear bumper mount and body crossmember, and the bumper could use a new cover. I asked a body shop he said it wouldn't take him long to completely fix it, and seal it up. ITEMS TO NOTE: Rear bumper is ugly, note above. Factory rear electronic diff lock is a bit sticky. It should engage with a bit of encouragement, but likely hasn't been used like most of them. The light on the dash flashes though. The factory hydraulic suspension needs 2 new front globes. I have them on order already. It rides a bit rough in the front. I have isolated the issue to the front globes. It's a rather easy job to install, but they are on order still (will arrive in a few weeks). It's perfectly drivable right now, and the suspension still raises/lowers as designed. It's very smooth on the highway, but medium size bumps and speed bumps etc causes the front to bounce a bit more than normal. Not very noticeable on the highway though. This thing is a tank, other than those small issues, this thing rides totally mint! It's such a killer ride with the manual trans, and none of the crappy issues dealing with right hand drive vehicles or auto trans issues. LOTS of power with the diesel. 202HP, 317lb/ft torque. Service at any lexus/toyota dealer, or your favourite import shop. The filters are the same as the old toyota diesels so the parts are easy to find. Lastly, DO NOT WASTE MY TIME, OR YOURS. No test drive without you showing me an account you own with over $30k in it. Seriously. I love cruisers, and enjoy talking about them but I just don't have the time for this and will be frustrated if you don't read the ad properly first. If you know your cruisers, you know what this is. For anyone else you're better off buying one of these: https://www.kia.ca/special-offers If you're serious, your offer better have a 3 in front of it or don't bother coming out. No I won't take $29k. The cost to import one of these (just check the european ads) with this kind of original kms is well over $50k after import costs etc). And then try finding one in a manual lhd. Now I said it. I'm a nice guy, just had to make that clear :)
