Description

2003 Ford Explorer Sport XLT, V6 4.0L (4WD). **Back hatch bumper stickers have been removed - See pic 5. I'm selling my 2003 Explorer. She’s served me well over the last few years. A very reliable truck that has never let me down even in the most remote spots. There are a few quirks, as listed below: Quirks - Right wing mirror button doesn’t work - needs to be adjusted manually. I have never found this to be an issue as once positioned you’re good to go. - Muffler isn't silent. Perks - Light bar - Aftermarket Stereo system with Bluetooth - Tire Chains included - Plenty of space for a bed in the back - did a lot of car camping in this and it was ideal (Picture included for reference only - bed has been removed). Spare seats from Dodge Caravan included but will need adapted to fit. - 4WD - Hi and Lo box all in good working order. Work done since purchase in 2018 - New set of Kumho tires - masses of life left. (Mid 2019) - New Tie Bars (Start 2020) - Steering rack and pinion unit replaced (Beginning of 2021) - Thermostat replaced - New Front and Rear Brake pads and Rotors (End of 2019) - Spark Plug Wiring replaced (End 2020) - New Valve Cover Gaskets (Mid 2020) - Regularly maintained by local mechanic. Sad to see it go, but hoping someone else can put it to good use. A great camping vehicle for a backpacker or someone who wants to run some logging roads whilst having a reliable vehicle for the day to day. I’m based in Squamish but work in North Vancouver. Open to North Van and Squamish meet ups. Serious buyers only please. Feel free to get in touch with any questions. Thanks.
