Description

1997 Honda CRV 284000Ks Just topped up all the fluids, went to Golden last week and Lake County yesterday without issues. Also did a Tofino trip this year, although with the hole in the exhaust she prefers town drives to highway. Runs and drives like a champ, but could definitely do with some tlc $700s worth of studded winter tires (and can throw in a set of summers you could get one more season out of) Thule bike rack AWD and is awesome off road Seats fold down flat and can fit a double mattress in the back I've done 80,000 ks in her in 5years and shes never let me down. Timing belt and front brakes were replaced 1.5 years ago and the battery and distributor were replaced 6months ago. Regular maintenance done for the last 5 years and some other bits replaced along the way. Quirks... The exaust has a hole in it so she is NOISY!! You could get it fixed, or just turn the music up like I do? Rear brakes will need to be done soon ish, still good at the moment though. ABS light is on (it's been on for 5 years, since i bought it, brakes work fine without abs) Engine light is on (It is a faulty oxygen sensor, doesn't affect driving at all) The drivers door sometimes doesn't work. Right now it's fine, but occasionally you'll have a day or two where you need to open the window and open from the outside. The windshield has two cracks but don't impede drivers vision Theres some dents and scratches but no major accidents/damage to the body) At $1200 either buy her as a ski bum/beater car and drive her into the ground, or put a little bit of work/money into her and she will easily last another 1-200k. CRVs go forever I've upgraded so need to get rid of it. Let me know if any questions.
