Description

2007 Nissan Frontier 4x4 Manual 214000 miles/344000 kilometers $6250 Pros: • Uncommon six speed manual, doesn’t have the issues of the automatics • Drives and shifts well, 4 high and 4 low shift easily • New Bilstein shocks in the front, new upgraded KYB shocks in the rear • American truck, very little rust for its age and mileage • All new fluid in the transmission, transfer case, and diffs • New timing chain and associated tensioners • New Nokian all season light truck tires • New Hella lights mounted on sturdy custom bull bar • Has a removable truck bed liner and roll up tonneau cover • Just replaced rod bearings due to higher mileage. • Lots of other new parts throughout truck Cons: • Check engine light is on for the P0430 catalyst efficiency and P0300 random misfire codes • Sometimes misfires on warm up (see P0300 code) • Has an exhaust leak (I believe this is the reason for the P0430 code) • Airbag light is flashing, I think this was set off when I changed the seat cushion • Has some electrical gremlins such as the AC, cruise control, and CD player not working or working intermittently • Body has general wear and tear • Tonneau cover does not lock • Previous owner cut a hole in the carpet for some bizarre reason. This has been a good truck and a reliable daily driver for about a year, but I’m on to a new project now.
