Description

Waterview Estate Property! 12 acres with a beautiful panoramic view of Merigomish Harbour. This property has it all. Every window has an exceptional view! Whether you are looking for a seasonal cottage, a permanent home, a hobby farm or a place to build your dream home, this property can be the perfect spot for you. The current owners purchased this land two years ago. They put the driveway in as well as a drilled well and put in a 1,000 gallon septic tank. There is an updated mini home on the property, but the well and septic were installed with the plan for a bigger home to be built beside the mini home. The home is 864 sqft with 2 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. A new wood stove was installed 2 years ago, as well as a new hot water tank. There is also a small shed beside the home for storage. Interested in a hobby farm? There are 4 acres of pasture fenced off with electric fencing that held sheep recently. A nice long winding driveway provides lots of front yard space for kids to roam, landscaping or more fencing for expanding the hobby farm. There is also a nice chicken coop and a fenced in garden area for growing vegetables. Located on the Shore Road in Merigomish, a coastal community along the Northumberland Strait, this property is only 5 minutes from a gas station/convenience store, 1 minute from an active community centre, 8 minutes from the beautiful Big Island beach and 15 minutes from the town of New Glasgow. Additional land available if buyer is interested. Featured drone photo is of property before development.
