Don’t be fooled by the mileage, this car has been meticulously maintained and guaranteed runs better than any E9X with half of the mileage. I had every intention of keeping this car, but I’m going to be buying a new place with less parking and the toy needs to go unfortunately. Not in a rush to sell as I can store it for as long as I need to. What I’m asking for the car is what I’ve spent on it’s mods alone. This isn’t your dad’s basic BMW 328i or 428i. This car is an absolute beast with almost 3x as much power as a base 3-series, yet has somehow been our most reliable vehicle out of a Toyota and a Subaru and another BMW. It’s been dyno’d at 540whp/533wtq which is equivalent to about 650hp/640lb ft tq. This car beats stock Porsche 911’s, Corvette’s, Nissan GTR’s, older Lambos and Ferrari’s…the list goes on. Have yet to come across a quicker 335i on the road yet either, but they do exist. The N54 engine is found in E9X 335i’s between 2007-2010 and it’s referred to as the German 2JZ because of its insane tuning ability. It’s an over-built engine from the factory with forged internals, which allows the stock block to handle a TON of power reliably (some ppl are putting down 1,000whp on the stock block). I’ll be honest, the 2007’s and even 2008’s were notoriously unreliable. 2009 got better, but the last year of the N54 engine in the 335i was 2010 and they got it right. Glad I spent the extra $$$ for a 2010 as I constantly hear other owners complaining that theirs is always in the shop being fixed while mine’s only in there for upgrades usually. I am the second owner of this car (the original owner traded it in completely stock for a Tesla). The car has far too many mods to list (over 60 total) all mainly done in the past 1-3 years (always installed by professionals), but the basics are that it’s full bolt-on, stage 3 turbos, stage 2+ hybrid clutch, water-methanol kit, and a custom Eurocharged tune. Tons of aesthetic mods including full carbon fibre aero and much, much more. This car drives like a regular car around town until you step on it, so even though it’s built like a race car, you can daily it no problem. It’s all wheel drive, so it puts the power down off the line and it’s great in the winter (only drove it in the winter for one season though as I didn’t want it exposed to salt). It’s also a 6-speed manual which is far more fun than clicking paddles to shift gears. All modifications are top of line, many are custom. This car is in the shop the second anything needs replacing and only OEM or performance upgraded parts unlike most of the 21 year olds driving these cars who can’t afford to repair them with high quality parts. Trust me, you get what you pay for with used N54’s. It has just had the water pump replaced ($1,000), full OEM pads and rotors replaced ($1,500), and a full set of staggered Michelin Pilot Sport 4s tires ($1,600). I could talk for hours about how fun this car is to drive, but I’ll let you see for yourself. No test pilots though please.
