The car comes with a brand new Drive Unit that includes a 4 year 80,000 KM warranty. As far as the main battery goes, I estimate that there has been about 14 to 15 percent loss of original capacity. This was calculated by using the range estimates on the gauge in the car. When the car was new its rated range was 435 km, now when i charge to 100% the rated range is about 375km. 375/435 = 86.2%. The battery is considered to be no longer useful for the car when it reaches 70% of its original capacity. So if my rate of loss was to continue at the current rate it should last for another 330,000 kilometers. This is not an exact science and a lot of factors can affect the life of the battery but hopefully helps out. This car is fully loaded, has every option that was available in 2014, except the rear facing child seats. Cold weather package Free Supercharging for life! Must see to show the benefits of a well kept car. This is an old school Tesla, it is pre-autopilot so it has no Hardware to enable autopilot at all. It is a drivers car. It is rear wheel drive (rear motor only) and has air ride suspension and a beefed up suspension system. I have kept up with all the maintenance on the car using Tesla and Tesla certified mechanics. The car recently had most of the suspension components upgraded and the brakes were changed for the first time at 250,000 km. This past winter I took this car to Florida from Southern Ontario so it is still capable of the long road trip. It is the ultimate road trip vehicle in my opinion as when Im on the road with this car I pay nothing for super charging. This car includes free supercharging for life and free premium connectivity for life which is only found on these older versions of the car.
