98 E39 BMW 540i (pre-vanos) 4.4 Litre V8, 290hp/320tq 295k on it, mostly hwy. Previous owner had it for 8 years, did timing chain 80k ago. No leaks, engine runs great New: control arms, steering gear, tie rods, water pump, coolant reservoir, valley pan gasket and coolant o-rings, headlamp polish, interior door handles The bad: Theres a little spot of rust on the passenger rear door (pictured)f, front bumper is a little beat up. Someone stole the cats so its straight piped, but isnt loud, E38 muffler. Could use new sway bar end links (2x$20), missing the front left splash shield, needs a brake sensor for pad wear ($10), dent on the fender (pictured) Power everything, ac blows cold, sunroof, Motorola car phone included, good for a daily or a project
