Time for a new home.....2007 Silverado LTZ Z71, "new" body style...Ok its "old" but you know the deal if you are reading this ad. Has a whole bunch of km on highway and gravel, used but never abused. Truck has always had regular oil changes long before the dash indictor said it was due, fluids have been replaced over the many years, brakes have be done over the years, leaf springs, drive axels, front bearing, oil pressure sending unit and the little screen under it were recently done.....the list goes on and on as you would expect when it comes to a truck with this many kms. But she keeps on ticking.... actually the motor does not make those valve lifter ticking noises that so many of these trucks make. Starts good, runs and shifts well. Drives straight down the road, does not shake and hey....the radio works too! (new antenna). Glass is good, a few blemishes, but I am sure it will pass a safety, and they were epoxied, so they shouldnt run. There is surface rust on the body....but you will notice that the box panels are not rusted as you would expect, the truck has been sprayed inside the body panels with oil every fall to help slow down the rust. Yes the paint is peeling, yes it has stone chips all over the front, yes the tires are getting worn, yes there is a dent in the fender, but it has a working light bar to help you see the deer, and I even have a can of match paint and two extra light bulbs that go with it. And did I mention the unused original spare….wait that might not be a selling feature, Oh well. No this is not a new truck, but it is a good truck, no its not $80,000, its posted for $6000. I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere or have my wife or kids drive it, or take my grandson in it. So there you have it. No I wont give it away so please dont start throwing low ball offers until you come and see it. You may find things about it that are worse than I have said...so dont waste my time or yours, we are all busy people...summer is short in this country.
