Please read the entire description as most questions will be answered. I’m not willing to send any information to check claims history unless it is a car proof and the buyer is responsible for that. Received a company vehicle therefore and can’t justify keeping another one around. Car was purchased two years ago from the original family (two owners within the same family prior to my ownership). It has a clean title and no liens. Please message me for the VIN if you want to run a carproof report, as I cannot remember if it had any claims (likely nothing major if that or I wouldn’t have purchased it). Body is in good condition with no rust on body panels. Front driver fender replaced and driver side door painted under VW corrosion warranty in summer 2022. There is however rust on the drivers window trim which can be replaced for around $100 (Amazon). Major maintenance done: - Timing chain and tensioner (revised) done two years ago (approx 20k) - Intake Manifold (approx 20k) - Oil Pan (approx 20k) - Oil pressure sensor (approx 15k) - Audi R8 Coil packs and Denso spark plugs (approx 20k) Issues: The car drives nice, but so have a few minor issues that need to be addressed, which include: - Occasional check engine light due to rough idle when cold. This is likely due to the fact that it requires a carbon cleaning. (Walnut shell blast). It can continue to be driven and have the code cleared. - Rear driver side wheel bearing plus ABS Sensor. Doesn’t affect drivability, but so recommend it being changed. This is more of routine maintenance due to its mileage rather than a problem. - Small oil leak detected recently. Likely caused by oil pan gasket. Will include a set of 16” alloys with winter tires. At the end of the day this will be one of the cheapest MK6 GTI’s that hasn’t been tracked or modded with some major maintenance done not too long ago. Can’t imagine it’ll need to much to keep this chugging along for another 250k. Will not negotiate anything unless you come see the car. And will not be taking any form of payment other than EMT, Cash or certified Bank Draft. Please be reasonable as this is not a new car but priced accordingly.
