- Car is sold as NOT SAFETY CERTIFIED. It will not pass safety certification without investing a few thousand $ into it - I am the 2nd owner (owned for 2 years, no accidents/bumps/scrapes/bruises) - The car runs, but it does not run reliably. What this means is that you can drive it on local roads, but every few hours, youll have to top off coolant into the radiator to prevent overheating. You have to start it and press accelerator pedal and keep key turned in ignition to get it going (though it reliably starts). And once in a while, it just wont start at all (this has only happened once and is the reason Im selling the car, though it has started the last 4-5 times Ive turned it on). Also, when driving on the highway, it may lose power and drop speed by 20-30km before you hit the accelerator pedal again and regain speed. This happens occasionally and my speed drops from 110 to 80km/hr before coming back to normal. If you drive it at 100km/hr and not above, you should generally not see this issue occur (it has never occurred below 90km/hr if I recall correctly). - coolant may or may not be leaking into the engine, thus the engine may require replacement - there is considerable rust underneath the car. the extent of how bad it is is unclear, but I believe it is driveable despite it - there is a potential ignition module problem - there is likely an exhaust leak - there may be a blown head gasket - there may be a timing chain problem - humming/rattling noise behind the dash is irritating - repairs completed while I was the owner - ball joint, drive shaft, shock strut, short circuit, crankshaft sensor - comes with winter tires (rubber is worn out on at least 2 of them, maybe all four; however, rims are good as far as I know). - comes with $250 approximately sound system (already installed) Note: this car is in good condition otherwise. There are no serious suspension issues that I know of or electrical issues. No serious rust issues or other leaks or damage. No accidents. I purchased it from someone who was the 1st owner of the car. I drove it for 2 years while these issues accumulated. If you are mechanically inclined and can repair it on the cheap, this may be a good car for you. Lots of space in the back. Seats can be easily removed. I used it as a landscaping van, so its quite dirty and has some paint stains on the seats, but its an awesome vehicle.
