Description

Great opportunity to own a future classic that has been meticulously maintained. I am the second owner. Car comes with records dating back to 2006. I bought this car in 2020 with the goal to make it a fun and reliable street car that can be taken to an occasional track day. The car has been treated with an open wallet and many high end maintenance and performance parts have been installed. Basically, the amount I’m asking for the car is the cost of all of the work done to the car since 2022. Some of the maintenance and performance improvement work done in 2022 (approximately 10,000 km ago): Rebuilt R56 front calipers Rebuilt R53 rear calipers Trailer hitch kit with electrical trailer connection… perfect for the bicycle carrier or even small trailer (parts alone almost $500) Sparkplug wires, sway bar end links, suspension bushings and ball joints, steering tie rods replaced (scared to add it all up but well over $500 in parts!) Whiteline Sway bars (26mm Front & 20 mm Rear) - (prst alone are over $700) Clutch (Valeo kit with single mass flywheel, all associated gaskets and seals including rear main seal, clutch guide tube and slave cylinder have been replaced… parts alone are well over $500) Wavetrac LSD (people who know do not need explanation. Part alone is over $1,500!!!) King rod bearings ATI Crank damper (part alone is over $400) Timing chain (Chain guides, sprockets and chain tensioner have been changed too) Coolant hoses (all coolant hoses and fittings have been changed… spent about $500 in parts) Power steering hoses Valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, and various sensor seals Supercharger maintenance WMW 16% reduction pulley kit (with belt and colder plugs. Part alone over $500) Complete Milltek stainless steel performance exhaust (high performance header wrapped in DEI titanium header wrap, high flow catalytic converter and full catback exhaust - parts alone are over $2,700!). Belt tensioner (part alone is over $200) NTK Oxygen sensors - both (parts over $300) Last year i changed the following stuff (probably less than 5,000 km ago): Koni active shocks (parts are $1,082) Alternator (part $300) Starter (part $270) As you can see, I spent over $10,000 in parts alone to make this little car super fun, and most importantly, reliable. I participated in a couple of BMW Trillium HPD events in group C and B and this car surprised many! Think passing E46 M3 in turn 3 and 4 at Mosport GP track! Yeah, it can’t compete on the back straight (hitting only 182 km/h as per my Harry’s timer), but by turn 9 you will close the gap… of course, depending on the driver. My goal was to continue with the work (intercooler upgrade, intake and bigger injectors) and make it even faster. However, I ended up buying a Porsche Cayman which replaced my Mini as the car toy. Car runs great and has no issues. It is very clean (some people think it’s a new car), sounds amazing (not too loud) and it is super fun to drive. What are the negatives? AC does not hold the charge. I refill it with the refrigerant in summer and it works for about 6 weeks and then stops blowing cold air. Must be a small leak. It has only one key (one actual key and one valet key). There is rust forming under the rear tail lights. I will post more pictures soon. Asking $9,500. This is more than fair given the state the car is in and the vast amount of money invested in it.
