About

River Valley Estates is a popular family community, close to all amenities. The community features two playgrounds, a lighted storage compound, and an abundance of green space, all in a central and convenient location. This is a large community with 335 homes spread over 64 acres. The property is in a prime location, within walking distance of a grocery store, Wal-Mart, churches, and schools. Whitecourts economy is primarily driven by three major industries: forestry, oil and gas, and tourism. Whitecourt serves as a gateway to the oil sands, and many people who work in the oil sands industry reside in this community. The town is also home to 3 paper mills. Residents in Compass Communities own their homes but lease the land on which the homes are situated, with one of the benefits being a significantly reduced cost of ownership. Our residents and the Compass team make these communities more than just a traditional manufactured home community in Whitecourt, with their strong focus on fostering a friendly community atmosphere.
