Hello, I have land that I would like to develope in the St James area but am not ready to do so on my own yet. I am looking for a mentor to help me navigate the way. I’m a home builder and project manager of my own company for over 10 years. I have been successful so far and am now looking to take the next step into real estate development. I know my strengths in my own feild, but I’m aware that development is a whole different game and it scares me to go in alone. I’d like to learn from someone who’s already walked that path and can advise me on the proper way to go about things, not only in development but also business and setting things up properly. I am looking to grow my business and eventually be able to build passive income so that I can be financially secure in years to come. I could use advise on: - how to set thing up properly through corps so that there are no unforeseen problems with taxes, legalities etc - raising money, finding investors for multimillion dollar projects - rezoning land, permits etc - researching what buildings/concepts would be best suited where - and just overall dos and donts in the industry I’m seeking a mentor who has: - Solid experience in business and development. - A willingness to share practical insights and guidance as I navigate my first few projects. And who genuinely wants to breed success in others. - Enough time to connect a few times a week by phone and a few times a month in person. (I want to be clear, I deeply respect your time and I’m not looking to drain it or become high maintenance for you.) I want this to be beneficial for both parties. In return for your time and advice, I’m open to offering sweat equity or hands-on help in your projects. I’m hardworking, reliable, and ready to contribute wherever I can add value.
