The 2019 Jeep Cherokee Sport is a compact SUV that blends everyday practicality with Jeep’s signature rugged capability. Powered by a 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine producing about 180 horsepower, it delivers a balanced mix of efficiency and performance for daily driving. A nine-speed automatic transmission comes standard, helping provide smooth shifting and respectable fuel economy, averaging around 22 city and 31 highway mpg. Inside, the Cherokee Sport offers seating for five and a functional, user-friendly layout. While the base trim has a simpler interior compared to higher models, it still includes modern essentials like a touchscreen infotainment system, Bluetooth connectivity, and available smartphone integration. One of its biggest strengths is versatility. With available all-wheel drive systems and Jeep’s off-road heritage, even entry-level trims can handle rough terrain better than many competitors. Overall, the 2019 Cherokee Sport is a practical, capable SUV suited for drivers who want comfort, utility, and light off-road confidence.
