Description

Landlord lied about price its was listed for $1599, I went to sign the lease she said I had to pay a additional change for utilities of $500 bringing my rent total to $2150. Because I was under duress I had to sign the lease. Big mistake..... She told us we were not allowed visitors, also forgot to mention her 3 screaming all day from 6am-7pm kid. Also she showed the unit when the train was not running and her kids were in daycare. Between her and her screaming kids and the train you do not get sleep. Also you are not allowed to play music of any sort. Also not allowed to have windows open for fresh air and she turned the furnace off in mid- March, but still expects you to pay your full payment of the bills. She dosent care that you pay $2150 for a crappy place that smells like dirty diapers and rotten food. Never mind the 3 suits share garbage and 1 food bin. She will knock on your door and scream at you, show you no respect. I opened our bedroom windows because my husband chocked so hard he has a seizure , for health reasons due to the old furnace which was serviced not even 1 month later. The landlord told me to shut it and keep them all shut and If something happened to her precious windows I would be responsible to pay for it. She must of forgot that I needed to have renters insurance to rent the place, so I canceled the insurance the next day. She also tells you not to keep things plugged in and I found out its because her and her husband did the renovations and do not know how to wire things and the plug has burn marks on it so It makes sense that she tells you to unplug everything. Theres no cuboard space because they use sheet of wood not even big enough to fill the length of the cupboard so you can not fold towels and bedding small enough to fit. She is a bully and has no business renting out a suit for that price thinking she can contol people and deny them the basic human rights of fresh air and heat. You will seriously thank me for this later. Im saving you the grief I wish someone would of given me the heads up.
