While parking at home, the bumper caught exposed rebar protruding from a concrete parking stop. There was no collision with another vehicle. I had the repair handled through Honda. 2024: My wife and I were travelling through Montana on our way to Yellowstone National Park when we struck a road hazard near Great Falls. The impact damaged the front bumper and cooling components. I had the vehicle towed directly to Great Falls Honda, where it was repaired through insurance. There was no airbag deployment and no structural damage. The Texas history was related to a work relocation. Rather than driving the Civic down, I had it professionally transported by a vehicle transport company. When I returned to Canada, the vehicle was registered in British Columbia and later in Alberta after returning to Calgary. The CARFAX reflects the B.C. registration in 2023 and the Alberta registration in 2024. CARFAX Canada Vehicle History Report .pdf The CARFAX also records the vehicle being formally imported from the United States back into Canada in October 2024 with Normal status. I have the supporting Canada/U.S. import and export documentation. CARFAX Canada Vehicle History Report .pdf I have always taken the car to Honda dealerships for major maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs. More recently, I wanted to learn how to perform basic automotive maintenance myself, so I completed some routine work under the guidance of a retired Toyota mechanical engineer with approximately 45 years of experience. This included spark plugs, two oil and filter changes, engine air filter, cabin filter, and tire rotation. CARFAX, Honda service records, maintenance receipts, and Canada/U.S. import-export documentation are available. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY. I have maintained this car carefully and I am being completely transparent about its history. No lowballers, tire-kickers, time wasters, or endless messaging from people who have no genuine intention of viewing or purchasing the vehicle. A family member will be helping me show the vehicle. This is a straightforward, no-nonsense private sale. If you are genuinely interested and ready to buy, please reach out.
