Description

1999 Jeep Cherokee XJ Lifted, locked, armored, and ready for it all. I am the second owner of this XJ over the last 18 years, and it has been the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. Licensed, insured, and daily driven. This XJ has done deserts, mountains, AND the grocery store. It's now time to pass it on. Everything works - just have too many Jeeps. 411,000 km and will slowly increase with daily driving duties. 4.0L in-line six with 5-speed AX-15 manual transmission. NP 242 full-time/part time transfer case with Iron Rock Offroad slip yoke eliminator and double cardan joint rear driveshaft. Zero vibrations at highway speed. Spectre Performance cowl air intake allows hood-height water fording - sounds great too. 4.5 inch Rubicon Express/Old Man Emu lift with Ironman Fabrication shackle relocation brackets and Bilstein 5100s. Currie upper/lower adjustable control arms. JKS Manufacturing track bar and Quicker sway bar disconnects. Currie RockJock Currectlync tie rod/drag link heavy duty steering system. Everything is tight and solid - ride quality is excellent. Notch Customs flares provide tons of clearance for 35-inch metric equivalent studded Duratracs (315 75R16), on 16-inch Procomp alloy wheels. 35-inch spare included. Rear ZJ disk brake conversion. Dana 30 front axle with Eaton E-locker and Revolution chromoly axle shafts. Chrysler 8.25 rear axle with Detroit Truetrac gear-driven LSD, also with Revolution chromoly axle shafts. 4.56 final drive ratio. RuffStuff armored diff covers, front and rear. JCR rock sliders and gas tank skid plate. Appalachian Armor transfer case skid. Dual-AGM battery system, wired for 12V accessory (like fridge) in rear cargo area. Dual-slide drawer tool box in cargo area. Titan 10k winch with wireless and wired remotes on Detours Offroad Backbone winch plate. Detours Offroad Tailbone spare tire carrier holds the included 35-inch spare tire. Note: bike rack not included - will be removed prior to sale. Trucklite LED headlights are the real deal - clear, bright optics with a sharp cutoff. Oil filter adapter has had a minor leak over the years that I haven't addressed. Other than that the entire driveline is bombproof and runs flawlessly, day in, day out. Rust has gotten into the passenger side rocker. Some rust on corner of rear hatch and top of windshield. Overall very good looking XJ with lots of service life remaining. Super-clean interior. No cracked saggy seats or headliner. If you're looking for a built XJ with quality components at a great price, this is the one.
