Description

Selling my 2008 Pontiac Torrent with exceptionally low mileage (only 98,700 km!). This has been a very reliable SUV and has been meticulously maintained, including Krown rustproofing applied EVERY YEAR, which is very rare for a vehicle of this age. Perfect timing for winter—it comes with 8 wheels, including a set of studded winter tires on steel rims already in the back. The Good / Recent Maintenance: - Exceptionally Low Mileage: Only 98,700 km. - Annual Krown Rustproofing: Frame and body are in great shape for the year. - New Brakes: Installed last November (2025). - New Battery: Installed in February (2025). - 8 Tires Included: Summer tires currently on the car, plus studded winter tires on steel rims (rims have some surface rust but tires have great grip for icy roads). - Cold A/C and hot heat. Full Transparency: The car starts every time, runs, and drives well. However, the transmission "hunts" (hesitates/shifts up and down slightly) when cruising right around 80 km/h in standard Drive ("D"). The good news: if you simply shift the gear selector into the "I" (Intermediate) setting, it bypasses this quirk completely and the car runs and drives perfectly fine! Because of this transmission quirk, I am pricing it well below what a 98k km SUV usually sells for. It is a great, cheap, winter-beater or daily commuter. Price: $2495 (Cash or e-Transfer.
