Description

Selling my 2015 Chevy Trax LT AWD as-is for a mechanic special or easy DIY project. The car was running great until the A/C compressor pulley bearing seized, causing friction that snapped the serpentine belt on the highway. I pulled over and shut it off immediately after warning lights came on, so the engine was protected. It was towed directly to a reputable local shop in Nelson, where a full digital inspection was completed. Condition: The Good: Body, interior, and AWD transmission are all in solid shape. Clean title. Standard maintenance kept up to date. What It Needs: New A/C compressor with clutch (or an A/C bypass pulley setup), new drive belt tensioner assembly, and new serpentine belt. Why Buy This? The shop quoted $3,044 CAD for a brand-new, full-service A/C overhaul, which I've decided not to do. For a mechanic, flipper, or handy DIYer who can install a $50–$100 used compressor or run an A/C bypass belt, this is a very straightforward, high-profit project. Bring a trailer or flatbed to tow directly off the shop lot in Nelson. Asking $3,200 OBO. Cash or e-transfer. Message me if you're serious and want to arrange pickup!
