Description

I acquired this in a package deal, the original idea was to restore it a bit or swap the engine into a project I had in mind, but I bit off more than I can chew. - 1987 Mercedes W124 300D - 335k km on the odo - OM603 engine - 4spd auto Good: When warm, it drives very good, it'll cruise happily at 120km/h or faster, the leather seats are in decent shape consider the age, the transmission shifts good, no slipping between 1-2 and shifts smooth and firm, goes into reverse without hassle. It has been looked after, not the best, it receives oil change etc on regular interval, it does have relatively new Continental tires. Not good: It smokes on cold start, also the body is not in great shape, there are rusts around, the brakes are also not the best, the calipers have been rebuilt but I suspect there's air in the system. there are some basic modification to the engine such intake and a boost gauge. You can definitely drive it home, but I would not recommend it due to the brakes, I have not service anything and unfortunately won't be able to due to lack of time, you will have to come get the car, I'm located in Scugog. My loss your gain. $2,000 OBO (as is)
