Description

2009 Toyota Matrix for sale. Vehicle still drives but needs work. The AC was replaced this summer and blows cold. The alternator was replaced last year. Here is the list of the bad news - Suspension needs work, especially the front - Front brakes need to be replaced (Rotors and pads) - Oil is leaking from the pan - Oil is being consumed (maybe from the leak); I do a quick top-up from the minimum line to the maximum line on the dipstick every 1.5 weeks. - Rear differential leaking (I believe it's the pinion seal) - Front tires need to be replaced - TPMS batteries died so that the TPMS light will be on. - The windshield looks like it has seen combat; it will need to be replaced. - Front passenger-side bumper and fender liner are damaged - Washer fluid tank has a crack near the top. - Minor hail damage, paint chips, scratches and rust due to age. - Driver-side door keyhole seems to have issue locking, so you have to lock the vehicle with button on the door before closing it. Unlocking has no issue. If you are looking for a car that needs basic maintenance to be good to go, this isn't it, as it needs work before I would consider it safe. The vehicle has REBUILT status and was last driven with registration on October 12th. It comes with 2 keys but no remote, as the previous owner misplaced it.
