Description

For fourteen years this piece of the Fraser has fed our family, and a whole lot of yours. We've farmed here as Big Fire Farm since 2012, selling vegetables and red, orange and yellow watermelons at the farmers' market from our very first season. Now we're moving closer to family, so we're selling the farm. It's 37 acres on the Fraser River near Quesnel: open fields, gardens, forest, and the river at the bottom. The farmhouse has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and it and the outbuildings have been completely rebuilt. There's a studio, a barn, a shop and a sauna too, plus a serviced trailer pad with power, water and septic. Our water comes from a spring at the head of Leonard Brook, just off the property. We'd love for it to go to people who'll love it the way we have. $829,000.
